Since the 70’s Laura’s Idea have championed homemade whole foods using simple recipes with carefully selected ingredients. From salads and sandwiches to wraps, we stock a revolving range of Laura's Idea dishes.

Healthy Breakfast - Vegetarian

This will start your day in a healthy way! The Healthy Breakfast yogurt pot is naturally sweetened with unsulphured apricots, raisins and agave syrup. You’ll notice a boost of energy right away from the wholegrain oats, nuts and seeds. It’s a perfect on-the-go breakfast, midday snack or sweet dessert after a savoury meal. Absolutely delicious AND you’ll feel virtuous!

INGREDIENTS:

Fresh live yogurt (milk – no other ingredients added), unsulphured apricots, wholegrain oat flakes, raisins, almonds, hazelnuts, desiccated coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, agave syrup.

Vegan Breakfast

Apricots originated in China over 4,000 years ago and made it into the diet of the Apollo astronauts! Such longevity can only mean one thing: they taste good and do you good. The Vegan Apricots dish is Laura's Idea vegan version of the Healthy Breakfast. Try one today and you’ll be surprised to know it’s dairy free!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic fresh live soya yogurt (GM-free soyabeans), raspberries 2.5%, blackberries 2.5%, blueberries 2.5%, strawberries 2.5%, wholegrain oat flakes, raisins, almonds, hazelnuts, desiccated coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, agave syrup.

Mexican Pancake - Vegan

It’s got a mix of rice (brown and organic, of course), red peppers, beans, corn, kale, leeks and onions with a little kick from the chilli and garlic! Laura's Idea always use organic unbleached flour to cook each pancake by hand. Get this meat-free wrap for lunch or take it home for dinner and serve it with a green salad.

INGREDIENTS:

 

Organic unbleached wheat flour, organic brown rice, onions, leeks, peppers, green beans, red kidney beans, sweet corn, kale, sunflower oil, sea salt, black pepper, chilli, garlic.

Calzone - Vegan

Our take on the traditional calzone is packed with veggie goodness and far removed from the Italian version. The Laura’s Idea version isn’t doughy or have bread on all sides. In fact, it’s bursting with filling with just a thin layer of crust. Surprisingly creamy, our homemade tofu spread is what creates its rich texture. As a result, it’s healthy and delicious and we think it’ll tempt you!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic unbleached wheat flour, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, onions, parsley, coriander, sunflower oil, homemade tofu spread (GM-free soya beans, organic lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, sea salt).

Lentils Special - Vegan

Warm and hearty, Lentils Special represents excellent value for money and a great nutritious feast to boot. Lentils are an essential source of protein, amino acids, dietary fibre, folate, vitamin B1 and minerals. Combine this nutritious legume with wholesome vegetables and anti-inflammatory turmeric and you have a winning dish! You definitely don’t have to be vegan to appreciate this homemade plant-based recipe.

Potatoes, lentils 23%, onions, carrots, celery, peppers, tomatoes, garlic, turmeric, sunflower oil, parsley, coriander, sea salt, black pepper, chilli.

Bean Feast - Vegan

Our Bean Feast is a medley of red kidney beans, white beans, chickpeas and borlotti beans. As a result, it’s full of fibre, protein, complex carbohydrates, folates and iron. If you’re looking for a filling, wholesome meal that’s full of spice and flavour, this is the dish! And if you haven’t tried it yet, where have you ‘bean?!’

INGREDIENTS:

Red kidney beans 18%, white beans 3%, chickpeas, borlotti beans 3%, organic brown basmati rice, carrots, peppers, onions, celery, tomatoes, garlic, turmeric, bay leaves, parsley, coriander, sunflower oil, sea salt, black pepper, chilli.

Spanish Tortilla - Vegetarian

Our Spanish Tortilla is loved by many and like all our products it only uses the best ingredients. Slightly different from the traditional Spanish omelette, ours has more vegetables like leeks, cabbage, carrots and red peppers. Speaking of red peppers, did you know that they are also known by the generic name, Capsicum, which comes from the Greek word Kapto meaning ‘to bite’? As you can see, these tortillas are certainly worth sinking your teeth into!

INGREDIENTS:

Potatoes 70%, organic free-range eggs 11%, peas, red peppers, cabbage, carrots, organic sweetcorn, sunflower oil, turmeric, black pepper, coriander, sea salt, garlic, organic corn flour.

Spinach Pancake - Vegan

Spinach producers in Texas have put up a statue of Popeye after he demonstrated its extreme health benefits. We may not go that far, but we certainly recommend you eat this super nutritious and popular dish. Consequently, our Spinach Pancake boasts high levels of many vitamins and minerals including Popeye’s favourite: iron. Everyone seems to love the spinach and tofu filling wrapped up in our specialty pancakes!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic unbleached wheat flour, fresh tofu 14% (GM-free soya beans), spinach 60%, sunflower oil, nutmeg, sea salt, black pepper.

Spinach Tortilla - Vegetarian

Laura says this Spinach Tortilla has been part of the range for more than twenty years! As it turns out, the original recipe with its few key ingredients still has its loyal fans. This is a simple dish with carefully balanced flavours and the goodness of spinach that keeps them coming back for more. Great on its own or paired with a main dish!

INGREDIENTS:

Potatoes 70%, organic free-range eggs 11%, sunflower oil, spinach 13%, cumin, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, sea salt, organic corn flour.

Spicy Soba Noodles - Vegan

Wrongly thought to contain wheat, buckwheat is a seed common in parts of Asia where it’s too mountainous to cultivate wheat. In Japan, soba noodles are traditionally made with buckwheat flour and the ones we use in our Spicy Soba Noodles are made from 100% buckwheat. With hints of garlic and chilli, this is an exotic and delicious wheat-free noodle salad.

INGREDIENTS:

Organic soba noodles 30% (100% buckwheat flour), peppers, carrots, peas, tomatoes, salad onions, chillies, parsley, garlic, olive oil, organic lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper.

Raw-Beetroot Salad - Vegan

Did you know that red foods are full of important antioxidants and vitamins that are great for the heart? Consequently, our Raw Beetroot Salad is full of them with lots of raw beetroot, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, red onions and goji berries. In addition, we love to top it with raw pumpkin seeds that will help keep your heart pumping strong!

INGREDIENTS:

Raw beetroot 19%, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, carrots, red onions, parsley, olive oil, organic lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper, pumpkin seeds, goji berries.

Super Kale Salad - Vegan

Our Super Kale Salad is packed with kale, ‘the queen of greens’, superfoods almonds & goji berries, and omega-3-rich avocado. Who said healthy food can’t taste good? This salad is both of those things plus raw and vegan! Moreover, it has all the flavours and textures in one dish. A perfect mix of sweet, savoury, crunchy, leafy and creamy – a true delight for the taste buds!

INGREDIENTS:

Kale 29%, red cabbage, leeks, avocados, carrots, goji berries, apples, almonds, olive oil, organic lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper.

Black Bean Salad - Vegan

Did you know that black beans only came to Europe in the 1500s? Before then, it was only cultivated in South America. There, the beans were prized for their high protein and fibre content. Consequently, our Black Bean Salad is full of plant-based protein from the black beans and pumpkin seeds. All of our salads are made fresh with natural ingredients so you can be assured you’ll feel great after eating them!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic black beans 44%, organic sweet corn, peppers, cucumbers, red onions, rocket leaves, garlic, dill, black pepper, sea salt, pumpkin seeds, organic lemon juice. NO ADDED OIL.

Falafel Salad - Vegan

Everybody loves a good falafel, and the ones we use in our Falafel Salad is no ordinary falafel. Made with the finest organic ingredients, these chickpea balls have dates and raisins, providing a perfect combination of sweet and savoury flavours in the salad. Nutritionally speaking, chickpeas are a great source of protein, fibre, manganese and folate. Consequently, the falafels together with fresh greens and vegetables create a complete and nutritious salad!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic falafels 15% (chickpeas, dates, raisins, basil, parsley, garlic, chilli peppers, sea salt), fresh salad leaves, parsley, rocket, radish, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, green olives, carrots, walnuts, seeds (sunflower, flax, pumpkin – NO ADDED SALT OR OIL). Sauce in pot: cucumbers, dill, lemon juice (squeezed), onions, garlic, black pepper, sea salt, olive oil, parsley.

Wild Rice Salad - Vegan

Other rices are just an imitation of wild rice which is high in protein, low in fat and full of flavour. Hence the reason why we use it in our Wild Rice Salad. We also used brown basmati, which combines the healthiness of wholegrain and the sweet fragrance of basmati. In effect, mixed with other nutritious vegetables, this is a healthy and hearty salad that everyone will enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic basmati rice 20%, organic wild rice 8%, carrots, parsnips, cauliflower, red onions, peas, parsley, sunflower seeds, olive oil, organic lemon juice, sea salt and black pepper.

Rainbow Salad - Vegan

People say we should ‘eat the rainbow’, and you can with this Rainbow Salad. Red, green, orange, purple and yellow are all present in this colourful and healthy dish. Since every colour represents a different nutritional benefit, you know that by eating this salad you’re getting a balanced meal! Furthermore, if you’re a fan of fruit in salads, the apples add a perfect amount of sweetness to the dish – and it’ll keep the doctor away!

INGREDIENTS:

Carrots, peppers, celery, apples, cucumbers, red onions, parsley, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, olive oil, sunflower oil, lemon juice (squeezed), sea salt.

Quinoa Salad - Vegan

Okay, we admit we may not always remember how to pronounce it, but we certainly know what the quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) brings to this Quinoa Salad! Revered by the Incas who called it ‘mother grain’, it is not a true grain at all. In fact, it’s a seed and closely related to beets and spinach. With its unique, mild and slightly nutty flavour, it blends perfectly with mint and our carefully prepared seasonings. If you’re a fan of quinoa you’ll love this gorgeously light and colourful salad.

INGREDIENTS:

Organic quinoa 23%, peas, organic sweet corn, red kidney beans, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, onions, celery, parsley, sea salt, mint, lemon juice (squeezed), soya sauce (GM-free soya beans, wheat, sea salt, koji), black pepper, olive oil.

Seaweed Salad - Vegan

Reflecting on Laura’s love of Japanese cooking, this Seaweed Salad features her beloved arame seaweed. This exotic ingredient happens to be rich in calcium, iodine, iron, magnesium and vitamin A. Furthermore, seaweed has many health benefits, including the power to detox our body of heavy metals! It’s a natural filtration system that’s edible and delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

Organic brown rice, arame seaweed 3.5%, red kidney beans, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, parsley, lemon juice (squeezed), soya sauce (GM-free soya beans, wheat, sea salt, black pepper, olive oil.

Chick & Pea Salad - Vegan

This is a simply divine combination of health-giving ingredients – and no clucking anywhere! Contrary to its name, the Chick & Pea Salad is a vegan dish full of plant-based nutrition. Powered by protein-packed legumes, this is a light yet filling chickpea salad. In addition, you have a bed of minty cous cous to add to the dish’s flavour and texture.

INGREDIENTS:

Chickpeas, peas, carrots, cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, onions, parsley, celery, cous cous (durum wheat), lemon juice (squeezed), soya sauce (GM-free soya beans, wheat, sea salt), mint, turmeric, olive oil.

Guilt-Free Truffles - Vegan

Remember… you don’t have to beat yourself up for having a sweet treat! Not when it’s good for you! These Guilt-Free Truffles are rich and creamy, just like the real deal. Surprisingly, they are vegan, sugar free and seed-elicious with flax seeds, dates, cashews, cacao and vanilla extract. Simple, healthy and finger-licking good!

Tip: you can snack on them to give you energy in the afternoon or treat them like a dessert and pair them with some nice cream!

INGREDIENTS: 

Fresh dates, cashew nuts, organic cacao powder, vanilla extract (vanilla beans, alcohol), milled flax seeds.

Coco Treats - Vegan

Treat yourself to Coco Treats from Laura’s Idea! No need to be a raw vegan to enjoy these energy balls! Like all of our other dishes, this dessert is handmade and uses just five quality ingredients. These indulgences may be easier to snack on throughout the day… and are especially effective during those afternoon slumps.

INGREDIENTS: 

Organic coconut 48%, cashew nuts, organic coconut sugar 10%, almonds, raw organic cacao nibs.

Chocolate Cheesecake - Vegetarian

Cheesecake is quite a popular dessert item, but add chocolate to it and you have a decadent cake that you won’t be able to resist! Laura’s Idea uses fresh vegetarian ricotta, raw organic cacao powder and coconut sugar to create this creamy Chocolate Cheesecake. In fact, it’s probably the most guilt-free one out there.

INGREDIENTS: 

Fresh vegetarian ricotta cheese 64% (milk, vegetarian rennet), organic cacao powder, organic coconut sugar, oats, organic coconut flakes, walnuts, organic almond milk, vanilla extract (vanilla beans, alcohol).

Vegan Strawberries

Long associated with love and flirtation, the humble strawberry is also extremely good for you! In fact, they were traditionally used in natural medicine to treat inflammation and even gout. As you may know, strawberries are high in vitamin C but they also contain high levels of folic acid, potassium and fibre. Throw them into a pot of GM-free soya yogurt and granola and you have our Vegan Strawberries!

Organic fresh live soya yogurt (GM-free soyabeans), strawberries 10%, wholegrain oat flakes, raisins, almondshazelnuts, desiccated coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, agave syrup.

Vegan Cheesecake

Why should our vegan customers be deprived of a delicious creamy cheesecake? The good news is they aren’t, and to much of everyone’s surprise, non-vegans enjoy this one, too! One of Laura’s Idea’s hero products, the Tofu Cheesecake uses GM-free tofu and it’s delectably rich without all of that cheese and dairy.

INGREDIENTS: 

Fresh tofu 80% (GM-free soya beans), oat flakes, walnuts, organic coconut flakes, berry mix (raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry), agave syrup, vanilla extract (vanilla bean, alcohol).
